The meaning of Gaeilge gan Eagla is summed up in the following words
- Who fears to speak an Ghaeilge, the language of the Gael?
- Who blushes at its melody and sounds that have prevailed?
- The Atlantic foam that stirs our hearts and pounds each crashing wave.
- Demanding hope fulfil, in faith, that Gaeilge will regale.
