Accommodation Arrangements

Attending a cúrsa Gaeilge offers a unique opportunity to make new friends and connections. Interacting and socialising with housemates and classmates creates an ideal environment for language learning. If two friends wish to stay in the same teach lóistín, they can do so by submitting a written request from their parents or guardians. You can submit this request in the upcoming months, once Lurgan sends out the housing request email.

In the teach lóistín, friends will have separate bedrooms but will share their living space with new acquaintances of a similar age. In cases where three friends wish to share accommodation, we will evaluate these requests individually. Accommodation-related matters will be addressed in the coming year.

Here are the criteria for arranging accommodations:

1. Students will be placed in accommodation based on their age and school year.
2. Two friends can be accommodated together, provided written requests from their parents/guardians.
3. Friends will have separate bedrooms but will share living space with new acquaintances.
4. Requests for three friends to share accommodation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
