Accommodation Arrangements

A fundamental part of attending a cúrsa Gaeilge is the opportunity to reach out to new friends/acquaintances. Associating & mingling with new housemates, classmates provide the perfect landscape for language acquisition. Two friends may be accommodated in the same teach lóistín if this is requested in writing by parents/guardians. This is done by forwarding, by post in the same envelope, a specific accommodation request written by each parent/guardian. friends will be allocated different bedrooms within the teach lóistín where they will share a room with new acquaintances of similar age. A request for three friends to share accommodation will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Accommodation matters will require attention and will be addressed in the new year.

The criteria for arranging accommodations:

1. Students are accommodated according to age/school year.
2. Two friends can be accommodated together pending written requests from parents/ guardians posted of together in the same envelope.
3. Friends are allocated different rooms so as to share with new acquaintances.
4. A request for three friends to share accommodation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
